Banks started his love affair with coffee at a young age. When he was three he remembers drinking milky sweet “coffee” with his grandparents on Sunday mornings. By the time, he was 12 he had discovered the wonderful world of espresso in the Little Italy neighborhood of New York City. At 16 he got his first barista job in Charlotte, NC. At that time, he decided that he wanted to be a coffee buyer when he grew up. Over the years, Banks has work as a production roaster, QC Manager, Green Buyer, and Trader.
