Description
Formed in 2015, Mahara has 460 organic-certified members across five villages and two sub-districts in Central Aceh District. It has 12 delegates, collectors, and buying stations that purchase coffee cherries or parchment from members. The cooperative aims to centralize coffee processing to further improve quality, which is already impressive.
The Mahara board is young, eager, and driven to achieve the highest quality for their members. Their Vision and Mission statements focus on advancing the welfare of their members and society.
